The Head of Organisational Development and Engagement is a key role that supports the People Directorate and Executive to put every person who works at Oxleas at the heart of everything we do.

Sitting as a key member of the senior People Directorate leadership team, this role is instrumental in developing and implementing the Trust’s strategic aims and the People Strategy by having ultimate responsibility for leadership development, talent management and talent programmes (including all apprentice strategies), staff engagement and the experience of all that work across the Trust to make Oxleas an outstanding place to work.

As an advocate for effective people change, the successful person will utilise their significant expertise on a daily basis to contribute to the development and roll out of a programme that delivers sustainable change across the Trust. Engaging senior leaders to improve organisational effectiveness by aligning the way we work to our new values and behaviour framework is essential.

This role will support the Trust’s most strategically important programmes, designing, delivering and evaluating interventions alongside the HR Business Partners to improve team effectiveness and performance, whilst supporting the delivery of the organisational strategy through high level organisational design.
