Natalie is an experienced programme and change management professional with a background in the publishing and charity sector. She enjoys combining creative and strategic ‘big-picture’ thinking with detailed programme management and a commitment to continuous process improvements through data-driven decision-making,
Before joining enei, Natalie led strategy implementation at Anna Freud, a children and young people’s mental health charity. This involved an ambitious internal change programme spanning brand, digital transformation, employee experience, EDI and Participation strategies.
Prior to this, Natalie was Head of Programmes at CILIP, (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals), leading a diverse portfolio of internal and externally funded projects, campaigns and awards. Natalie is particularly motivated by projects with social justice aims; highlights have included the launch of a Green Libraries partnership, the successful redesign of the UK’s oldest children’s book awards through a collaborative diversity review and a collaborative research project to decolonise public library collections.
Natalie’s background includes a degree and MPhil in English Literature from the University of Bristol, specialising in children’s literature. She is a keen reader and a passionate advocate for children’s literacy.
