International Allyship Day
International Allyship Day, held annually on 8 August (08/08), was established in 2023 to honour the values of unity, harmony, and connectedness symbolised by the number eight. This global commemoration celebrates the strength derived from collective action and promotes the importance of allyship. It serves as a reminder of the significance of standing up for one another, fostering inclusivity, and building bridges of support and understanding.
