In times of social and political unrest, the workplace can become a reflection of external tensions, with employees feeling the impact both directly and indirectly. This session aimed to equip organisations with knowledge to support employees during these challenging times.

As a B2B and B2C communications, Amadi is a trusted advisor to organisations of all sizes, from innovative startups to large-scale global companies, across sectors such as technology, entertainment, and media.
She specialises in crafting impactful campaigns and authentic storytelling that connect brands with the audiences that matter most. Amadi co-leads MikeWorldWide’s UK Diversity and Inclusion programme and collaborates with non-profit organisations, including the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (enei), to shape perceptions of workplace inclusion.
A strong advocate for mental well-being in the workplace, Amadi is also a trained mental health first aider. She is passionate about fostering inclusive environments and driving meaningful change through thoughtful communication strategies.

Sandi Wassmer, Chief Executive, Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion (enei)

Sandi has been enei CEO since 2020, and is the UK’s only blind female CEO and a passionate advocate for human rights. With a background spanning commercial and charity sectors, she champions equality and inclusion at the intersection of Government, Industry, and the Third Sector. Sandi’s impactful career includes pioneering the “Ten Principles of Inclusive Web Design” and holding key roles in media and charity organisations, such as COO of SyFy UK TV Channel and MD of Copious. As a former Trustee of RNIB and current Non-Executive Director at Mental Health First Aid England, she continues to drive positive change and innovation in accessibility and social care.
