We love helping organisations navigate the path to inclusion and belonging.
Wherever your organisation is on its inclusion journey—whether you’re just starting out, working in an inclusive culture, or anywhere in between—our training and consulting programmes can be customised to meet your needs. We are here to help you progress along the journey and create the sense of belonging we are all striving towards.
Sexism in the workplace is a major issue that affects employees worldwide and is defined as the unfair treatment of someone based on their sex. It can take on various forms, including but not limited to sexual harassment, or through the use of expressions such as “Man up” or “Cry like a girl”. Sexist behaviour has been shown to negatively affect employees’ performance, sense of belonging, mental health, and job satisfaction. It can also have an impact on workplace culture and morale, as well as leave an organisation open to legal challenges.
Our Challenging Sexism training is designed to help individuals recognise and address everyday sexism that occurs in the workplace, from stereotyping to insults masquerading as jokes.
Through interactive and engaging activities, small group discussion, and case studies, participants learn about the hidden biases and attitudes that can lead to sexist behaviour in the workplace and how to prevent and address it.
During the program, participants learn how to challenge everyday sexism through understanding its complex implications for behaviour, including power dynamics, gender roles, and communication styles. The Challenging Sexism training encourages an open and honest discussion about the impact of sexism and provides strategies to create a more equitable work environment.
We design and deliver diversity, equality, and inclusion training programmes for everyone, from small teams to entire organisations, either directly or through train the trainer programmes, and work across all disciplines and levels within an organisation, from DEI practitioners through to senior leaders and boards.
