- Celebrate Bisexuality Day – Celebrate Bisexuality Day, also known as Bi Visibility Day, is observed annually on September 23 to recognise and celebrate bisexual people, their community, and history.
- Lesbian Visibility Week – This is an annual observance dedicated to increasing the awareness of lesbian women and their issues.
- LGBT+ History Month – This is celebrated every February since its founding in 2004 by Schools OUT UK. Its purpose is to claim LGBT+ history, celebrate the present, and create the future.
- National Coming Out Day (NCOD) – This is an annual LGBT awareness day honoured annually on 11 October, supporting those “coming out of the closet” and promoting openness to combat homophobia.
- Pride Month – Pride is dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ+ voices and commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. Since then, Pride marches have spread globally, advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and celebrating progress while highlighting ongoing challenges. Pride events, featuring parades and festivals, occur year-round across various UK cities.
- Transgender Awareness Week – Transgender Awareness Week, observed from 13 to 19 November, serves to is to educate about transgender and gender non-conforming people and the issues associated with their transition or identity.
- Transgender Day of Remembrance – The Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR), observed annually on 20 November, memorialises those murdered due to transphobia.
- International Transgender Day of Visibility – This is celebrated annually on 31 March to raise awareness of the discrimination faced by the trans community and their contributions to society.
